It is a 3-star accredited facility which is run by the most warm and welcoming staff. Our units are extremely clean, warm and tidy. Nothing is compromised.

When one drives past La Rochelle, there is not nearly as much to observe. However our paradise lays in the rear of our premises, where you wakes up with the splish-splash of the old water wheel at the koi pond.
Due to the large veriaty of bird life that frequent our many huge trees on our property, we are affiliated to the Zululand Bird Watchers Assosiation and form part of the Bird Watching Route.
At night when the garden lights come on, you can almost hear the goblins and the fairies in the garden talking as they prepare for their nights activities.
No wonder all our guests have to be lured from their cameras and the beautiful garden into the dining hall for a huge farm house breakfast in the morning.
Guests may choose to spend time on one of the numerous popular beaches, all only a few minutes away by car, or soak up the sun and sip cocktails while relaxing around one of La Rochelle's two private pools.
The Tuzi-Gazi Waterfront is only 3 minutes drive away from us, where you can enjoy lovely seafood platters or matured steaks while enjoying the relaxed view of the marine and Small Craft Harbour.

This laid-back B&B is 17 minutes' walk from Richards Bay's harbour and 2 km from the closest beach.
The 9 casual rooms come with tile floors, en suite bathrooms and TVs, as well as minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. There are also 4 apartments with BBQ areas and kitchens or kitchenettes.
There's full cooked breakfast, and evening meals are offered on request. Other amenities include a rustic, thatched-roof bar, and palm tree-filled, tropical-style gardens with 2 outdoor pools and a koi pond. Secured boat parking is available, and the B&B also has a deep sea fishing charter boat.
