- Close (about 10min drive) by is Port Edward where you can find shops, doctors, banks, restuarants farm stalls and craft studios, etc. We are a 20min drive to Margate and about 30min drive to Shelley Beach. The activities on offer are substantial with our beautiful swimming beaches, for the surfer in you or for a keen fisherman, all beaches are looked after Lifeguards. Not to mention the Sardine run over the months of May to August where you get the most beautiful displays from the dolphins and whales. In Port Edward you can book for deepsea fishing or whale watching trips.
