This upmarket, rustic-chic safari lodge with African artefacts is set on the Kapama Private Game Reserve. It's 16 km from Drakensig railway station and 27 km from Hoedspruit Airport.
The polished rooms come with Wi-Fi, minifridges and coffeemakers, as well as terraces or balconies. Suites add living areas.
Breakfast (fee) is served in a lounge/bar with a thatched roof. There's also a posh restaurant, plus outdoor dining in a dry riverbed, or around a fire.
