Colesberg is the ideal half way point when traveling from Cape Town to Johannesburg and is situated on the main national road (N1) between these two major cities. Situated in the heart of the Karoo with breathtaking vistas of unspoilt scenery, Colesberg's history dates back to the early 19th century.

Colesberg was first inhabited by stone-age hunter-gatherers. Then by ?trekboere' in the early 19th century. In 1814, the inhabitants set up a mission station in the hopes of restoring peace to an extremely unruly area of the Cape Colony. The second mission station, called Hepzibah, attracted over 1 700 /Xam San (Bushmen). This caused great alarm among the settlers who felt unsafe and their security was threatened. In 1818 the Cape Colonial Government put an end to the mission work.

Unit Amenities

Five luxurious en-suite rooms with a private entrance, secure parking and a communal entertainment with DStv and dining area. DStv in all rooms. We have two bedrooms with a double and single bed in each. One bedroom with two single beds in it and one-bedroom with only a double bed in it. One bedroom, which is a family room has got a cot, double bed and single bed with a bath en-suite.
