Walking trails around the lodge provide access to the dense indigenous coastal forest where many bird species and animals including bushbuck, blue duiker and vervet monkeys can be spotted.

The 5 unfussy 1- to 3-bedroom chalets offer kitchens, lounge areas, flat-screen TVs and balconies with forest views.
Free fishing rods and sandboards are available, and there's an outdoor pool. Picnic baskets are offered for a surcharge. Paid activities include birdwatching tours, guided forest walks and spa treatments.
