Sani Gables is a delightful bed and breakfast in the quiet farming village of Himeville in the southern Drakensberg of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Himeville is the gateway to the famous (and precipitous!) Sani Pass between South Africa and Lesotho, after which the house is named. The guesthouse is built in the Natal Verandah style and has seating areas at the front and back of the house, from which the changing seasons in the large verdant garden can be observed. In spring and summer the warmth releases the refreshing scents of roses, lavender, and cypress, while in the autumn and winter months the aroma of wood-smoke fills the air. A variety of birdlife can be spotted, including hoopoes, paradise flycatchers, Rameron pigeons,
