We are in close proximity to many of London’s other landmark destinations: 800 metres from Kensington Gardens, the Royal Albert Hall, the Albert Memorial and Hyde Park (one of largest of Central London’s Royal Parks); and a three minute walk from Gloucester Road underground station which is a short (eight/ten minute) trip to Mayfair, Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden; and which also offers direct speedy access to the rest of London, including the Tower of London, the historic City of London, and Docklands district. (approximately twenty/twenty five minutes).
We are also a twenty minute journey by underground to London Bridge station, “home” to the famous Shard, the tallest building in Western Europe with its spectacular 68th floor viewing platform; and the world renowned and vibrant Borough Food Market is a two/three minute walk from the Shard. Many of the attractions of South Bank London, such as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Tate Modern and the Imperial War Museum are an approximate 800m to 1 km walk from London Bridge Station. And Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament are within walking distance (approximately 3 kilometres), or a five minute underground journey from Avni Kensington. To the west, the major exhibition centre of Olympia (1.5 kilometres) is within easy walking distance.
