Baan Noppawong is the finest small hotel located on Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, in the middle of Bangkok historical district. In the past, it was a two-storey wooden house exquisitely built in the 19th century, during the reign of King Prajadhipok (RamaVII), for M.L. Ditsaphong Noppawong and Mrs. Salee Noppawong Na Ayudhaya. Nowadays the dilapidated house has been renovated by preserving its original characteristic and gorgeous elements.Baan Noppawong offers only 7 rooms in exclusively colonial wooden house with the highest level of personalized service. Each room was specially designed follow Thailand’s nine precious stones concept (Manee-Noppakao) to make living experience more unique. In order to encourage authentic of classical living, Baan Noppawong has deeply desired to use valuable antique furniture in every room’s decorations. Set in a restored Colonial home dating from the 19th century, this elegant hotel is in the city center. It lies 2 km from both the Grand Palace and the Buddhist Wat Pho temple, as well as 3 km from Thon Buri train station.
The 7 polished rooms and suites come with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemakers. Individual touches include wooden floors, walls and ceilings, as well as exposed brick walls. Suites add minibars and 4-poster beds; 1 has an open-air hot tub.
