Hotel Description
The cottages are build in traditional Karoo style. Each air-conditioned unit has kitchen facilities, a furnished patio, indoor BBQ facilities and a bathroom. Both the Standard and Delux 3 Bedroom Cottages feature an additional bathroom.It is the only house on Middelplaas and was probably many decades ago used as a residence for the people looking after the farm for the owners who lived elsewhere in the valley. Over the years it became very run down before it was renovated by the present owners into a cottage with the most beautiful view over the olive orchard, veld and mountains.
The Steering’s Kloof Hiking Trail in the Swartberg Mountains takes about 2 hours and is on the farm.
