Sitting up on a hill in the Waterberg Mountains overlooking a river, near Bela-Bela, Phumelelo Lodge is located in the greater Mabalingwe Nature Reserve – a Malaria free area of Limpopo Province and home to the “Big 5”, where the lions are located in a separate high security enclosure). It takes only 2 hours to reach Phumelelo Lodge from Johannesburg (O R Tambo Airport) and about an hour and 30 minutes from Pretoria, travelling via the N1 to Polokwane.
