The owners of Carslogie House are Chris and Christine Landman. After many years of very interesting careers, Chris as a Radiologist and Christine, having her own business in the restoration and preservation of Ceramics and glass, retired. They bought Carslogie House in 2002. They have since run and upgraded it to its present state as one of the top guesthouses in Port Elizabeth.Carslogie House B&B was established by the Clephane family in 1994. They named their new Bed and Breakfast “Carslogie House” to celebrate their Scottish heritage.
Carslogie is an ancient mansion on an estate in Cupar parish, Fife. It was built in the early part of the 14th century and for nearly 500 years was the seat of the Clephanes. But more important it has always been known and was famous for the hospitality extended to all weary travellers and visitors.
The name Carslogie House was retained by Chris and Christine because of its interesting history and its reputation as giving sanctuary and rest to travellers; a reputation which they have upheld and will be upholding for as long as they own this very special place.

Set in a seaside suburb, this upscale B&B is 8 minutes' walk from the beach, 1.8 km from the Boardwalk entertainment complex, and 2.9 km from Humewood Golf Club.
The 5 classy, individually styled rooms are situated around an outdoor saltwater pool. All have private garden patios leading to the pool deck, as well as satellite TV, high-speed Internet access and ceiling fans. There are also microwaves, minibars and tea and coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms offer separate baths and showers. Breakfast on room patios is optional.
Continental or English breakfast is served in a refined dining room, and there's an elegant fireside lounge.
