Lodge 87 can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, an upstairs loft room, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living room. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, as well as a large outdoor shower. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds. These rooms have use of a bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The upstairs loft room contains 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, and opens to a covered balcony.The marble topped kitchen is fitted with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, a breakfast bar with stools, and a separate scullery. The lounge contains comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, and a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels. Outside is a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture and a built-in braai. There is also a large lapa with a fire pit and seating.
Sondela offers an on-site restaurant and bar, a farmyard coffee shop, a general dealer for basic necessities, communal swimming pools, a wildlife centre, and the on-site Iketla Wellness and Spa. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy including game drives, horse rides, bicycles for hire, a 4x4 obstacle course, and guided quad rides.
