If travelling from north to south, it is easily accessible from the N1 and N6 routes and you can take a deserved rest if travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town, the Garden Route, Port Elizabeth, East London and the Wild Coast. If you are travelling from the east to the west, Bethulie makes an interesting stop-over between Durban and Cape Town. Bethulie is 575km from Johannesburg, 875km from Cape Town, 480km from Port Elizabeth and 440km from East London; 815km from Durban and is 36km from the N1 on the R715 next to LAKE GARIEP, the largest inland water mass in South Africa.
This is a non-smoking establishment (plenty of space on the patio or in the beautiful garden to enjoy a smoke). Children are welcome. Sorry no pets.
Enjoy a full English breakfast in the dining room or on the patio with panoramic views of the surrounding country side. We do not serve dinner but you can meet the locals and enjoy a meal at one of a few restaurants in town just a few minutes away.
