The elevated 4-hectare property offers majestic mountain views, and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in 2 stone, thatched cottages, and a main house. The accommodation is set in private, fully fenced and tranquil surroundings with the beauty and fragrance of over 1000 rose bushes. The main house comprises 3 bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with a separate breakfast nook. The house is private and has its own fenced-in garden, as well as an outdoor braai and a Jacuzzi. The first cottage comprises 1 en-suite bedroom, and the second cottage comprises 2 bedrooms. Each cottage has an open-plan kitchenette, lounge and dining room, with a fireplace in the lounge, ideal for those cold winter evenings. Each cottage is private and has its own fenced-in garden and outdoor braai area. The cottages and the main house are each equipped with a TV, and guests are required to bring their own DStv decoder and smart card for DStv access. Linen is provided, and guests are required to bring their own towels. Thekwanes Nest is conveniently situated within close proximity to Drakensberg Gardens Resort; guests have access to the resort during their stay.
