Hotel Description

The standby generation is only used during rainy days and for ironing. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and these are functional when the generator is in operation.

In an attempt to be as environmentally friendly as possible, the use of the generator is limited. It is unfortunate to inform visitors that the solar power does not provide enough electricity for gadgets such as laptops and hairdryers. The AC-power plugs are square and are functional only when the generator is in operation.

A stay at Rakops River Lodge will certainly be a very pleasant experience. Rakops loves the beautiful natural environment and therefore takes care of their surroundings. However, customers can still enjoy the major luxuries that they would expect from a lodge much closer to big cities. Rakops River Lodge is looking forward to welcome you.
